Amrita Ramanan (she/her/hers)

Amrita currently holds the role of Director of New Work Development at the Public Theater where she oversees all new work commissions, readings, developments, residencies, and writers’ groups.Recent dramaturgy credits at the Public include Manahatta by Mary Kathryn Nagle and Sally & Tom by Suzan-Lori Parks. Prior to the Public, Amrita was the Director of Literary Development and Dramaturgy at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In five seasons at OSF, Amrita served as the Production Dramaturg for a variety of plays, including Cambodian Rock Band by Lauren Yee, Snow in Midsummer by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, and productions of Shakespeare's As You Like It,Macbeth, Henry V, and Henry IV Parts 1 & 2. Prior to OSF, Amrita was the Literary Manager/Artistic Associate at Arena Stage, where she dramaturged Arena’s productions of Mary T. & Lizzy K. by Tazewell Thompson and Ruined by Lynn Nottage.

Lily Hart

Lily Hart (she/her/hers)

Lily Hart is a writer and dramaturg with a passion for championing new works. Originally from Wisconsin, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota where she studied history and English. As a multi-genre, multimedia artist she explores research based work, the eerie, and what gets passed down from family. Before graduating with her MFA from UC Riverside she was a National Semi-Finalist at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for her one act, The Only Two Doctors in Kentucky, and Region VIII's Institute for Theatre Journalism and Advocacy Graduate Fellow. This year she was a National Dramaturgy Fellow with KCACTF.

Sonia Fernandez

Sonia Fernandez (she/her/her)

Sonia Fernandez is a dramaturg, administrator & producer specializing in new work. She currently serves as Director of New Work at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in DC where she leads new work development activities. Recent production dramaturgy credits at Woolly include the world premieres of The Sensational Sea Mink-ettes by Vivian J.O Barnes and Incendiaryby Dave Harris. Sonia was previously interim Artistic Director and prior to that Associate Artistic Director of Magic Theatre in San Francisco where she produced Magic’s annual Virgin Play Festival for five seasons. Some favorite production dramaturgy credits at Magic include the world premiere of Don’t Eat the Mangos by Ricardo Pérez González and The Chinese Lady by Lloyd Suh. Sonia is an alumna of artEquity’s inaugural BIPOC Leadership Circle. She is a longtime resident artist with Crowded Fire Theatre and serves on the board of the National New Play Network.

Maddie Easley

Madeline Easley (she/her/hers)

Madeline Easley is a Wyandotte artist and consultant whose work converges at the intersection of magical realism and elevation of Tribal Sovereignty, the inherent right of Tribal Nations to govern themselves. In her work, she positions colonialism as dystopia and examines the many threads that wind this reality, positing its fracturing through a truthful examination of the whole. Most recently, Madeline was the inaugural Four Directions Resident Playwright for 2023, a new partnership between Tulsa Artist Fellowship, Tofte Lake Center, Great Plains Theatre Commons (GPTC), and the Kansas City Repertory Theatre (KCREP), a 2022 Greenhouse Playwriting Resident at SPACE on Ryder Farm, and a 2021 First Peoples Fund Cultural Capital Fellow. Madeline's work has appeared at the Kennedy Center, TCL Chinese Theatre, KCREP, and more. Ryan Adelsheim

Ryan Adelsheim (they/them)

Ryan Adelsheim is a new play dramaturg, producer, and lecturer in theater, dance, and performance studies at Tufts University. Their current research focuses on queer and trans theater and performance, with writing appearing in Theater magazine where they also serve as the Associate Editor. An active artistic collaborator, recent credits include co-adaptor for Affinity based on the novel by Sarah Waters with director Alex Keegan, dramaturg and researcher for soldiergirls by Emil Weinstein, and producer on Emerging Playwrights Commissions with Audible Theater. Ryan received their MFA from Yale Drama where they are a doctoral candidate in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism.
